A special plaque has been unveiled for an Island man who lost his life defusing Russian explosives in Ukraine.
Chris Garrett of Peel was hailed as a Manx hero after he died in the eastern part of the war-torn country in May.
A special plaque has now been placed in the grounds of Peel Cathedral to remember him.
This week, Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer was among guests who gathered for the unveiling ceremony.
