Castletown commissioners have unveiled plans to pay tribute to six men from the same street who died in World War I.
The local authority has applied for planning permission to put up a blue plaque on Queen Street to remember the sacrifice.
Castletown's Royal British Legion says of 40 men from the street who joined up, six never returned.
If planning permission is granted, the plaque would be placed in a public seating area on Queen Street.
