The Manx Wildlife Trust has submitted plans to create a new wetland in the west of the Island.
The organisation has applied for planning permission to create three ponds and an expanded wetland habitat at Ballacosnahan Farm in Patrick.
In its proposals, it says it wants to build three new hides for birdwatchers and nesting chambers to support breeding Sand Martins.
It also want to build wheelchair-friendly access to the site.
