There are plans to relocate a Manx statue dedicated to a key Island figure in Castletown.
The Captain Quilliam bust currently resides in Speaker's Garden by Castle Rushen, but Manx National Heritage is proposing to move it across the town near the Costa Coffee shop.
The organisation says it wants to put the statue in a more 'befitting location' closer to the harbour.
The bronze sculpture is of 18th century Manx seafarer, John Quilliam, and was commissioned by Island artist, Bryan Kneale MBE to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 2005.
