A nursing home in Douglas has applied for permission to replace windows and roofs on its historic building.
The Ellan Vannin Nursing Home was founded in 1838, and in a planning application its management says they want to install white upvc windows and polycarbonate roofing.
In their application, they say current roofing is causing problems with condensation.
The home, in Kingswood Road, caters for short and long term elderly residents.
