Churchwardens in Malew have applied to expand a cemetery as it reaches capacity.
Malew churchyard's almost reached its thousandth grave after 56 years, and its graveyard now needs expanding.
The area's churchwardens have now applied for planning permission to extend the graveyard at Church Bends on the Southern 100 course.
In their application, they say they plan to carry out the work in three phases and include a remembrance garden.
