Part of Douglas's North Quay could be getting a revamp if planning is approved.
Kelman Limited has applied to turn the former Newson's buildings into three new bars and restaurants with outdoor seating, as well as ten apartments.
The proposed development will be called 'Merchants Place' - the bar/restaurants will make up the ground floor, with the modern apartments being up top looking over Douglas marina.
If approved, construction will begin later this year and is expected to be completed by 2024.
