Plans have been put forward for a campsite with 240 tents for future visits from motorsport fans.
JM Project Management is proposing to place the site near Old Church Road, in Crosby, and would be available to visitors during the TT and Manx Grand Prix fortnights.
Parking would also be made available for bikes and cars and, if approved, site sceurity would be provided by external consultants with the aim being for the facility to open 24 hours a day during the racing occasions.
The original application - which has since been altered - was submitted in January this year, before the Coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 TT races.
