A popular community space in Peel could be opening it's own cafe, if plans are approved.
The Vicar & Wardens of St German's Cathedral have put forward proposals to create a tea room at Corrin Hall on Derby Road.
If given the green light, the project would also see the building undergo some changes including replacing the entrance porch to form a new doorway, a new entrance canopy created and roof windows installed.
Those behind the plans say it's hoped the tea rooms would convert a 'cost burden' on Cathedral funds into a source of profit which will support the venue.
