Plans to introduce lower drink drive levels for R Plate drivers on the Isle of Man have been thrown out.
The Government wanted to push ahead with plans to introduce a 'two-tier' drink drive system.
It would have meant that inexperience motorists would have been subjected to a lower drink drive limit.
Due to the respone of a consultaion on the issue it's been confirmed that the plans have been dropped.
