Plans have been submitted to build a new care home in Onchan.
Howstrake Developments Limited, in Ballasalla, wants to build the 80-bed facility on land adjacent to King Edward Road.
An application for approval in principle to erect the home has been submitted to the Isle of Man Government.
Plans show it would be built in an 'L' shape over three floors so that it can 'utilise' the sea views.
As well as bedrooms the building would have space for a cinema, hair salon and bistro with the application stating it wants residents to 'enjoy the remainder of their life to the full'.
Around 80 staff could be employed if the plans get approval - they're currently pending consideration.
