A multi-million pound complex could soon be built in the South of the Island.
Fort Island Developments Ltd, part of the developer Dandara group has submitted planning application for permission to build the complex on the site of the old Castletown Golf Links Hotel.
The plans include a four star-plus leisure resort - a hotel, spa and apartment complex which'll include 40 bedrooms, an indoor swimming pool, gym, bar, and restaurant.
The complex will create up to 30 jobs, and more than 100 people will be employed while the building is constructed.
If plans go ahead the former golf links hotel which closed in 2007 would be demolished.
