Planning approval has been given for the new Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool.
The terminal will be built at the Princes Half Tide Dock site and is due to be completed late next year.
Funding for the construction stage is subject to approval from Tynwald, and is estimated to cost in the region of £31.3million.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK has welcomed the news, calling it 'a major step forward'.
