Planning approval is being sought out for a pop up bar at the old swimming pool on Peel Promenade this summer.
The plans include 32 deckchairs, a DJ booth, 16 ‘cabana’ style seats and two bar areas with the aim of giving a ‘safe space’ to young professionals and families.
Peel Commissioners says it supports the idea ‘in principle’ and says it would rent the space out for £1.
The authority also says it would offer parking for the event on the headlands if approved by planning.
