A farm in Onchan has applied to change the use of one of the fields to make it into a permanent campsite.
Ballakaighen Farm on Whitebridge Road in Onchan has asked the commissioners for permission to use one of its fields as a commercial campsite.
An adjoining field was used for TT and festival weeks for 2015 and 2016 - but that approval has now run-up and the owners wish to keep up the business.
They application says the use of the field would not be limited to special events such as the TT but is intended for groups such as Scouts and Guides groups as well as the public.
Members of the commissioners are considering the application before making their final recommendation.
