Proposed changes to the Island planning system would make it more efficient and easier to use.
That's according to Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot MHK, as the government launched a consultation asking for the views of the public on potential alterations to the way it works.
The changes to the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Bill would include bringing in orders to set out how applications are dealt with and clarify the powers of the committee.
The consultation is available on the government hub until September 15.
