Planning app submitted to transform unused office into place of worship

An unused office building in Ballasalla could become a place of worship under new plans.

Bransom Beam of the Ballasalla Christian Fellowship has applied to transform the former Island Timber Shop on Port Way in the Balthane Industrial Estate.

In his application, he says the building would change its use from industrial or business to community services.

He says it would host social or community events as well as religious worship.
