Douglas council has been given the green light to level off a sloping football field in Noble's Park.
The local authority had applied for planning permission to put 6,000 tonnes of soil down to correct the pitch.
In its application, it said the field sloped across its width and undulated from end to end.
Planners have now approved the application.
