An airline pilot is accused of hiding a camera in a woman's bedroom without her knowledge.
Martyn Bourner, of Orchard Road in Port Erin, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 34-year-old is charged with burglary with intent to install a surveillance device after his alleged victim found the camera hidden in her bedroom.
The camera was seized and footage showed Mr Bourner allegedly entering her bedroom and going through personal possessions before committing a sex act on her bed.
The court heard there was no evidence the camera could be remotely operated and the woman hadn't been filmed.
No plea has yet been entered and Mr Bourner was bailed to appear again on May 14 on condition he doesn't contact the woman or enter the road where she lives.
