Elderly members of the community are reportedly being targeted by a new telephone scam.
Police say over recent weeks there have been several incidences where a caller is claiming to be from Sky or Vibrus.
On each occasion the recipient has been asked to hand over their bank details over the telephone.
Police say the caller is extremely persistent and have advised people not to disclose personal information.
