An Island telecoms company says it wants to replace a mobile phone mast in Ramsey.
Sure has applied for planning permission to replace the tower at Ramsey boat Yard on the harbour.
The company, based in Circular Road in Douglas, says it wants to put a new lattice tower 45 feet high in place of the existing mast.
It says the new structure is needed to carry the equipment it needs to maintain its service.
