The MSPCA is urging pet owners to think before they leave pets in cars in hot weather.
Over the weekend, police in the north of the Island responded to three reports of dogs left in cars - none were hurt.
Welfare Officer for the MSPCA Adrian Cannell says it's an annual problem.
