A petition has been launched to provide and save swimming provision in the south of the Island.
It comes after a recommendation was made to close the Southern Swimming Pool from the end of March due to financial reasons.
A decision will be made in February's sitting of Tynwald.
The petition currently has almost 700 signatures, with a number of comments stating that children need to learn how to swim when we live on an Island surrounded by water.
The facility currently provides weekly swimming lessons for 536 primary school children.
