A petition looking at making Strand Street in Douglas smoke-free is gaining traction.
Local man - Kevin Oliphant-Smith started a petition looking at banning cigarettes between Castle Street and Duke Street.
He says it's wrong for non-smokers to have to breathe the fumes of e-cigarettes or smoke in and believes those who suffer the most are young children with asthma.
So far it's gathered over 560 signatures - but has received mixed responses from the public.
