A public petition calling for a vote of no confidence in the Council of Ministers now has more than 1,000 signatures.
Started by Jonathan Smith a few days ago, the change.org petition comes following last month's budget, and says many taxpayers are concerned about the impact of increased personal income taxes.
Mr Smith says there seems to be no member of Tynwald prepared to call a vote of no confidence, despite clear public feedback from businesses and individuals.
