Performing arts centre coming to Onchan?

Could a performing arts studio be coming to Onchan?

Proposals have been submitted by The Arts Hub to set one up at the Old Chapel on Main Road.

The organisation says the building was used as a theatre school from 1987 to 2009 before becoming office space, adding that their intention is to create a community space in line with other buildings in the area such as The Hub Community Centre and Onchan Library.

The companty also added the chapel would contain sound well due to its structure out of Manx stone, with its core times of use being between 10am and 9pm on Thursdays and 9am till 4pm on Saturdays.
