People urged to sign up to What3Words app

People are being urged to consider downloading a phone app which helps authorities find you in an emergency situation.

The What3Words app can give your exact location within a three-metre square area and by giving three words for where you are to emergency services it can help teams find you.

The constabulary says whilst you may know your way around the entire Island, sometimes describing your exact location can be difficult.
