Two weather warnings have been issued over Storm Eowyn today.
An amber warning for coastal overtopping runs until 8pm tonight with waves expected to wash over Shore Road in Rushen, an promenades in Castletown, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey.
A separate red warning for a violent storm runs until 2pm, as south or southwest winds of up to 55mph could gust up to 85mph.
People have been told to stay at home and avoid going out wherever possible.
