A new online platform has been launched to encourage constructive discussion about racism and prejudice in local society.
People of Colour Isle of Man - based on Twitter - is a new collaborative group working towards creating a centralized voice for issues in the black and POC community on the Isle of Man.
Those behind it say they want to highlight the voices of ethnic minority groups on the Island and also encourage people from all walks of life 'to engage in healthy conversation regarding the experiences and issues that affect this diverse and valued community'.
It comes as yesterday saw hundreds turn out for a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest in Douglas yesterday afternoon in what is understood to be the biggest demonstration of its kind on Manx shores in recent times.
