An Onchan MHK has welcomed a government U-turn on pensions policy.
Earlier today, Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson said the government would keep the triple-lock system - if Tynwald approves.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge described the decision not to scrap the current system during next week's budget as a 'victory for fairness and transparency' for Island residents.
But she says the fight to keep pensions isn't over yet: saying future decisions must be made properly and fairly.
