A 75-year-old man has died after a house fire in Andreas on Monday morning.
The Island’s Fire and Rescue team confirmed they responded to a 999 emergency call just after 9.30 at Larivane Meadows in the village.
The occupants of the house had put out the fire, but both the man and woman were then rushed to Noble’s Hospital for treatment.
Tragically, the elderly man lost his life some time later.
Emergency crews were on the scene for three hours. Currently, there’s no more information about the identity of the man.
