A 78 year old woman has denied causing serious bodily harm by causing a six-car pile-up in the north of the Island.
Josephine Jenrick of Rheast Mooar Avenue in Ramsey appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
She denies causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention on Lezayre Road on October 30 last year.
Prosecutor Roger Kane said Miss Jenrick had drifted onto the wrong side of the road in her Toyota Corolla just after 5.30pm.
She hit two cars, one head-on, and three cars behind her then crashed into each other.
Among those injured was an eight year old girl.
Magistrates bailed her to appear in court again on July 18 for a pre-trial review.
