A pensioner has admitted causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention.
Peter Poole-Wilson, of Ballamurphie Park in Glen Vine appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 82-year-old admitted the charge after a crash involving a motorbike on Peel Road in Marown on August 27 - the biker suffered multiple fractures and a serious brain injury.
Poole-Wilson was bailed in the sum of £500 with a condition not to drive, and will next appear on April 16.
