The Peel branch of the Manx Legion has announced it will close its doors for good in March.
In a statement posted to their facebook page they said following legal advice they will be closing the doors at midnight on Sunday 17th March.
The statement also revealed a notice will be published in the paper in due course, and notification will be given to their creditors.
They described it as a difficult decision for the committee, and have acted in the best interest of valued and dedicated staff.
The club will join an ever growing list of local hospitality businesses that have made the decision to close in recent months.
The secretary signed off the statement by saying no further comment will be made at this time.
