Manx Utilities says it's disappointed a planning appeal's been lodged against a sewage works in the west of the island.
In an update on its website, the organisation says an appeal's been registered against the approval it won for the Peel wastewater treatment works.
It says it's worked for 10 years to find a site and gain approval for it.
But Manx utilities says it remains undeterred and is committed to deliver what it calls 'critical national infrastructure'.
Our latest update is now available on our website. It is disappointing to note that an appeal to our planning application for Peel has been submitted for the project #IOM #IslandPlan @peelonlinehttps://t.co/zf9IBbMO6t pic.twitter.com/rZ61hqOH9k
