A man from Peel has been bound over to keep the peace after an argument with his girlfriend.
27 year old Peter Ashley Crowe of Castle Street appeared before magistrates in Douglas last week.
Barry Swain, prosecuting, said Crowe had rowed with his partner, throwing a dirty nappy at her - however Crowe denied that version of events.
He agreed to be bound over in the sum of £500 to keep the peace for 12 months, and a charge of provoking behaviour was withdrawn.
