Peel Lifeboat remained on site until 10am on Tuesday following the plane crash at Bradda Head on Monday.
Both Peel and Port St Mary lifeboats supported the Police, Coastguard volunteers, the Fire Service, Aviation Accident investigators and divers following the incident.
At 21 hours, it was the longest callout for Peel lifeboat volunteers, with crew changing over at 11pm and 4:30am.
Police confirmed yesterday that the crash resulted in the death of one person, and the family are being fully supported as investigations continue.
