Peel lifeboat crews helped a skipper with engine failure from Northern Ireland.
On Thursday, RNLI volunteers were called to assist a river cruiser with two people on board.
It had left Peel earlier in the afternoon heading back home, but got stuck 14 miles in.
As the boat was in a shipping lane, crews decided to tow the vessel to the west, before calling RNLI crews from Newcastle in County Down to help tow the boat to Strangford Lough.
Peel crews were back at the RNLI station by 10pm.
