A husband and wife from Peel have been accused of cheating the benefit system.
55-year-old Stephen Keith Tate and 46-year-old Lorraine Emma Tate, of Ballaquane Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
Mr Tate has been charged with nine counts of making false representations to obtain benefits - his wife has been charged with six counts of the same charge.
The offences were allegedly carried out between June 2015 and May 2016 - a three-week adjournment was granted; they've been bailed until their next appearance on August 24th.
