Peel commissioner Arran Kaighin has been remanded in custody following a second appearance in court yesterday (Tuesday).
He's charged with seven offences relating making indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children.
It's alleged the offences were committed between January 2010 and August this year.
Mr Kaighin, who is 43 and lives in Peel, appeared at Douglas Courthouse via video link from Jurby Prison.
His advocate, Dawn Jones, agreed to a further court appearance, via video link, on September 18.
