The Department of Infrastructure says it'll finish repairs on a Peel landmark when it gets the money to do them.
A Freedom of Information request to the department asked about the Peel Castle jetty, which sits next to the castle just outside the harbour mouth.
In its response, the DOI says it's done some stabilisation work on the bottom of the jetty but it needs funding before it can repair the top.
It says the jetty is closed to the public to stop people parking there.
