A serious road traffic collision in Castletown yesterday evening has left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.40pm on the Victoria Road near to the Sidings pub.
It involved a blue scooter, ridden by a 48-year-old male and a 63-year-old pedestrian – both from the South of the Island.
The pedestrian was taken to Nobles with serious injuries.
The road was closed for over 3 ½ hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
Police are asking anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact Police Headquarters.
