A payment is to be made to police officers who were serving between April 1992 and September 1994 after a housing allowance administrative error was discovered.
It was deemed a scheduled uplift to the allowance wasn't enforced during this time frame.
As a consequence a one off payment of £250 will be made to recognise this historical error.
