Consideration is being given to increasing the amount of information published on how much civil servants get paid.
That's according to the Policy and Reform Minister who says it's becoming increasingly common in the UK for authorities to publish the salary information for officials working in the public sector.
John Shimmin told Members at the last Tynwald sitting of the current government administration that it's being looked at but 'checks and balances' would be needed to protect individuals:
