A parking zone near the TT Grandstand could become a Pay & Display area for most of the year if planners give the go ahead.
Douglas Borough Council has applied to turn the paddock at Noble's Park into a Pay & Display parking area outside of the TT and other motorsport events.
Meanwhile, the local authority has also submitted proposals for chargeable parking at the area of Noble's Park known as 'The Boneyard' to turn it into a motorhome aire - this section is already used during motoring festivals for camping for competitors and teams.
In its applications, the council comments it has faced several problems in recent years with certain vehicles being parked or stored at the park, which can lead to issues around the TT and Festival of Motorcycling as they hamper the set-up of facilities.
