The Isle of Man Constabulary is urging drivers not to park on pavements.
Officers say this is one of their most common complaints, as vehicles park or stop on pavements and obstruct the pedestrian right of way.
The force says this puts pedestrians in danger, especially those who are vulnerable through disability.
Previously, police have issued advisory notices to these motorists, but they will now receive a fixed penalty notice in the hope of alleviating the problem.
