Patrick Commissioners are opposing plans to build a sewage treatment works in Glenfaba.
The local authority says the site near the Raggatt is unsuitable and residents in Patrick are united in their disapproval.
The board adds there hasn't been proper consultation and there should be a public inquiry into the proposals.
