'Patient transfers to continue where necessary'

Patient transfers to the UK will continue where necessary.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, made the comments during today's Covid-19 press briefing from government - saying each patient journey is assessed and approved by the DHSC.

Two individuals -  who'd recently returned from medical appointments in different locations in the UK - tested positive for Coronavirus after undergoing screening at Noble's Hospital for separate, unrelated conditions.

Both are being cared for in separate, private rooms in an isolated ward at the hospital.
