Pinewood Studios are renowned as one of the most famous in the world, responsible for the James Bond and Harry Potter franchise.
The UK Office of Fair Trading has now paved the way for Island based businessman John Whittaker to take over Pinewood Film Studios.
Whittaker’s company Peel Holdings initially launched a share takeover of the famous studios in April valuing the enterprise at £96.1 million.
The OFT conducted an investigation into the takeover, and after reviewing all the facts decided not to refer it to the Competition Commission.

The acquisition of the TV and film studios business should be completed by early next month.
