The annual extra parking on Loch Promenade opens today ahead of the Douglas Christmas Lights Switch On tomorrow.
Parking is free on the walkway for up to two hours for the Christmas shopping period, up until January 9.
Parking disks must be displayed and the are is still shared with pedestrians and cyclists, so drivers are asked to take care.
Access is from the end of the sunken gardens near the Gaiety Theatre, with the exit near the Sea Terminal.
